This 1800s mansion is in North Portland and whenever I shoot weddings there, I can’t get over how intimate it feels. You literally cannot see or hear any traffic thanks to the big, beautiful hedges that surround the property. You’d never know you were in the city while still getting all the benefits of being centrally located.
There are few quicker ways to a photographer’s heart than good lighting and let me tell you, Blockhouse has some GREAT lighting.
